ANNOUNCEMENT: Rebooting my PhD Empirical Study http://tinyurl.com/forsja-research

Dear Colleagues,

 I am briefly writing to share with you that after completing all of my
course-work (with the exception of one final exam) I am finally at a
point which I am able to properly conduct my empirical study. This is
exciting, yet daunting for me. With your help I will get this project
done!

 As many of you are aware I have experienced many life changes in the
past 12 months, which, unfortunately, has prolonged my projected
time-line for completing my PhD. Without getting into details and
reasons for this prolongation I would like to inform you that I am
pushing forward with my study and would love to invite you to be a
part of this experience somehow.

 I have rebooted our Linkedin Group and have “branded” it as
“forsjá://research” referring the the Old Norse word for “foresight”
|ˈfôrˌsīt|. I chose this name as it lends well to the core of my/our
research which is an attempt to “predict” or “foresee” what will
happen with education and learning in the near future. I thought the
name forsjá://research was only appropriate as it broadens the scope
of the group and allows for anyone (especially you) to create
sub-research groups to encourage synergies and complement our work
together.

 I look forward to getting things done with you and creating a research
experience which will be memorable for you! Let’s get this done!
